New students' travel works from New Taipei City voting – you can also win vouchers

To promote tourism in New Taipei City, the New Taipei City Government Tourism Bureau recruited 20 international students from a total of 12 countries including China, South Korea, Gambia, Kiribati, Canada, Iraq, and Singapore to experience a special tour of New Taipei City,andshare their travel, accommodation, and activity experiences through text and images online with netizens. In addition, starting now, visit the event’s official website, share the international students’ travel works, become a fan of these student travelers, vote to boost their popularity, and you could also win a NT$6,000 convenience store voucher.

In this experience activity, the works show Yang Xiaoxin from China dancing Mongolian, Dai, and Xinjiang dances with a dance troupe at Banqiao Dance Theater; South Korea’s Hsu Hsiu-hsien engaging in Taiwanese-Korean cooking exchanges with the head chef at a hot spring resort in Jinshan; Gambia’s Mamadou and a farmer from Bali Farm picking pomelos and enjoying a pomelo meal together; Kiribati’s Tebiraisaran and the Shuangxi Samba Grandma and hosts of New Taipei homestays swaying and dancing together; Canada’s Xie Zhenggang and Iraq’s Yi Martin directing, acting in, and editing their own travel documentary films. There are also international students from Honduras, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore who each shared their unique styles of New Taipei City travel experiences online with the public.
From now until November 25, netizens who vote online will have the chance to win the “Grand Prize,” “Fortune Prize,” “Happiness Prize,” and “Praise Prize,” among others, with a total value of NT$30,000 in convenience store vouchers.
