Present your resumption flight boarding pass to enjoy food discounts & free mobile phone rental

When traveling abroad, a boarding pass isn’t just for keepsakes — it can also score you discounts and deals. Following its initial collaboration with Singapore Universal Studios and Macau Studio City in the second half of 2012, where transiting passengers could enjoy discounted tickets by presenting their boarding passes — a move well received by customers — China Airlines launched its first wave of boarding pass promotions for the new year. This time, the focus is on food and 3C convenience products favored by travelers. Partnering with Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Together Exist Group, and Tink Labs, the airline is offering special deals: simply present your boarding pass during the promotional period to enjoy dining discounts or gifts, plus one-day free mobile phone rental at the Singapore Orchard Road Visitor Centre.

Under the promotion with Lawry’s The Prime Rib, travelers who present their boarding pass for flights between Taipei and Singapore from February 15 to April 30, and dine at either the Taipei or Singapore branch of Lawry’s between February 18 and May 31, can enjoy: with a business class boarding pass, one free 6oz. prime rib when ordering two; with an economy class boarding pass, 15% off when two diners both order main courses. For the Together Exist Group promotion, from now until December 31, travelers can present their boarding pass at any of the group’s Taiwan outlets — including Crystal Spoon Thai Restaurant, Silver Spoon Thai Hotpot, Bronze Spoon Sukiyaki, and Big Olive Italian Restaurant — to receive complimentary items such as crispy shrimp chips, taro sago dessert, chilled white fungus, and specialty drinks.

 

Additionally, from January 15 to April 30, travelers with a Taipei–Singapore flight boarding pass can rent a mobile phone at the Handy service counter in the Singapore Orchard Road Visitor Centre. Rent for two days or more and get one day free. Note that the boarding pass discount cannot be used in conjunction with discount vouchers provided when booking flights on the China Airlines official website.
