Xilaya Scenic Area Offers Discounts – Download App for Special Deals

In recent years, smartphones have become ubiquitous, and travel apps continue to evolve. Some national scenic areas have also joined the trend, using travel apps not only to provide information on attractions and transportation within the scenic zones, but even partnering with local businesses to offer promotional deals. The "Explore Xilaya" app, launched by Xilaya National Scenic Area, includes information on dining, accommodations, attractions, transportation, festivals, local specialties, signature foods, and itinerary planning within the area. Starting now, visitors who download the "Explore Xilaya" app at designated partner businesses can enjoy discounts on purchases, half-price tickets, free coffee vouchers, and other perks.

Xilaya National Scenic Area is located at the junction of highlands and plains in the eastern part of the Chianan Plain in Tainan City, covering 14 districts in Tainan City and 2 townships in Chiayi County. The area boasts the highest density of reservoirs in Taiwan, the only mud hot springs in the country, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, the oldest human fossils in Taiwan, the most beautiful badland landscapes in Taiwan, as well as the largest traditional Minnan-style settlements. Additionally, Xilaya National Scenic Area hosts various seasonal festivals throughout the year, including the Wushantou Cherry Blossom Festival, Meiling Firefly-Watching Season, Baihe Lotus Viewing, Mango Season, Dongshan Coffee Festival, Hot Spring Food Carnival, and Pingpu Night Festival.

From now until April 30, visitors who download the "Explore Xilaya" app guide system at any of the 19 designated partner businesses will receive special offers from the stores, including half-price tickets to Dakeng Leisure Farm, free coffee vouchers at Xuan Shan Hu Shan Lin Coffee, 25% off on weekends at Mingyuan Hot Spring Villa, a commemorative coffee cup set from Longshan Zhixiang Coffee Shop, and “spend NT$1,000 get NT$100 off” at Meiwu Natural Plum Garden.
