Spain’s San Sebastián tops global list for food and film paradise with the most Michelin-starred restaurants per capita

Last year, San Sebastián (San Sebastian) was named the world’s food paradise by the renowned British consumer magazine *Which?*, and when it comes to the number of Michelin-starred restaurants per capita, it ranks first in the world, attracting tourists from all over who come here for its fame. This coastal city in northern Spain is not only a food haven but also hosts an international film festival with a history of over 50 years, gradually gaining international recognition.

There is a hotel in the area designed around a film theme called Astoria7, located where numerous famous theaters once gathered. As a result, its rooms are named after many actors and directors who have visited the area, paying tribute to the many contributors to the film industry. This star-studded hotel has invited a total of 102 “celebrities” to be its highlights, the most well-known being the Alfred Hitchcock (Alfred Hitchcock) suite on the top floor. The suite features a spacious private balcony and an extra-large projection screen, allowing guests to enjoy the lush green scenery outside or relax on the large bed while watching movies.

Just a 15-minute walk from shopping centers and other tourist attractions, the hotel maintains a style from the 1950s. The nostalgic movie posters and vintage cinema seats in the lobby recount major moments in the film industry over the years, evoking guests' nostalgia and adding to its subtly charming appeal.
