Children's Day holiday at Kenting Chateau for parent-child DIY fun

The Children's Day holiday is just around the corner. Want to spend quality time with your kids and create unforgettable memories? From April 1 to June 21, they are launching the “Fashion Player” accommodation package, starting from NT$8,930 for a family room, which includes four servings of buffet breakfast, a Chinese-style flying fish themed set meal, free participation in either a daytime or nighttime eco-tour at Sheding Park, and activities such as parent-child cooking or DIY kite painting. Through various DIY activities, children can unleash their imagination and creativity to make unique, personalized souvenirs. Each material kit costs just NT$50 for a hands-on experience.

Besides offering accommodation and dining services, Kenting Chateau has also launched a parent-child kitchen DIY activity in collaboration with its pastry shop, allowing everyone to make their own dream desserts. On the day, pastry chefs will prepare a variety of handmade cookies in flavors such as oatmeal and chocolate, along with safe-to-eat candy decorations and different colored melted chocolates for kids to unleash their creativity by covering the cookies with vibrant colors. Once cooled and set, the cookies are ready to eat. The hotel occasionally offers different types of pastry DIYs, such as popular international muffin cupcakes or mini 4T cakes, where kids can freely pipe whipped cream and add edible candy decorations to create their favorite designs. Other parent-child DIY options include kite painting, coasters, masks, glass and shell wind chimes—all for just NT$50 per person; or choose to join free activities such as making handmade soap, painting sand art, beading friendship bracelets, or magic bean puzzles.
