Head to Nantou for a cool splash at the Shuili Water Festival, now open!

The annual "Shuili Water Festival," hosted by the Shuili Township Office in Nantou County, was originally scheduled to kick off on July 13, 2013, but due to the impact of Typhoon Soulik, it has been postponed and officially opens today (the 28th) with great fanfare. The main event venue is at the Shuili Water Park. This year’s Shuili Water Festival runs from today until August 18, with activities held every Saturday and Sunday for a total of 10 days. Visitors from across the country are welcome to head to the Shuili Water Park for some splashing fun, cooling off and enjoying a refreshing summer!

The scenic Shuili Water Park boasts beautiful mountain and water views. During the festival period, the park offers a variety of large and small water-friendly facilities, such as inflatable water play structures, fountains, and giant water buckets. Each week also features performances by various performance groups, activities like the "Water Drop Baby Pat Pat" and "Shuili Water Fight Boxing."
