Day 1 10:00 Water Activities at South Bay
South Bay is Kenting’s most popular resort beach, featuring a flat, wide expanse of fine white sand and moderate waves. It’s perfect for exciting water sports such as surfing, canoeing, and jet skiing. The beach is also bustling with visitors playing beach volleyball, sunbathing, and playing in the waves. For those seeking an extreme challenge, don’t miss the latest water activity—“waterskiing,” towed by jet skis, with options including kneeboards, twin skis, and wakeboards. There are also fun activities like depth charges, banana boats, and donut rides.
Day 1 13:30 Huanyu Beach Bar
For lunch, take a short rest and head to Huanyu Beach Bar at the South Bay rest area. This is part of the new South Bay development by Youhuo Lize Resort, combining water play, dining, shopping, and live music in one leisure space. The hottest new landmark is the white church arch facing South Bay, resembling a romantic scene from a idol drama—it has become a popular spot for wedding photos. Sit at the open-air bar, sip drinks, enjoy the sea view, listen to the waves, and feel the sea breeze for a truly relaxing holiday.

The area around South Bay has also developed into a charming street full of unique homestays, and it’s also the hub for surf-themed guesthouses. For dinner, take a stroll down Kenting Night Market. The market gets livelier as the night goes on, with all kinds of street food perfect for eating as you walk. The currently hottest oyster and seafood bar is especially generous—sit at the outdoor bar, feast on freshly grilled oysters, grilled whelks, grilled clams, and grilled snails, paired with ice-cold draft beer, and savor the full taste of summer. The Little Bay area also has open-air bars, including places selling wood-fired pizza, reggae bars, and American-style shops run by foreigners. Sit at the roadside tables, drink beer, and enjoy the sea breeze for a carefree time.

Day 2 09:00 Bigfoot Adventure Team
The Bigfoot Adventure Team offers stream trekking and desert dune bashing—experiences you can only have on the Hengchun Peninsula. The mountain roads of Menmalo Mountain
wind through the grassy hills and plains at the foot of Greater and Lesser Sharp Mountains, where you might even spot herds of cattle grazing on the hillsides, creating a scene reminiscent of a frontier landscape. In addition to tackling Menmalo Mountain, there’s also the Guzai Desert, the only desert in Taiwan, covering over 200 hectares near Baiyao Bay in Jiupeng Village, Manzhou Township. Formed over time at the foot of Jiupeng Mountain, it boasts spectacular rare landscapes such as sand waves, sand valleys, sand rivers, sand dunes, and sand walls. The area is famous for the “desert dune bashing” experience in Bigfoot jeeps, racing across rugged sand terrain, which is both thrilling and exhilarating.
Day 2 12:00 Hengchun Spaghetti
Hengchun spaghetti, like the famous saline spaghetti, is made with duck eggs, giving it a richer egg flavor and better elasticity compared to regular spaghetti. Qiuxiang Noodle Shop, located on Zhongshan Road in Hengchun Old Street, has been around for over 20 years, serving home-style local flavors. Another option is Alan’s Café, formerly known as Sichuan Restaurant, which was first opened by its first-generation owner Ding Shaolun in 1959 and has been running for half a century. The classic taste of this old shop is deeply etched in many people’s childhood memories.

Day 2 13:00 Go-Kart
Kart racing has been popular in Kenting for years. Racing enthusiasts come here to compete and enjoy their holidays. In addition to entry-level karts and heavy-duty vehicles, the F1 Karting Circuit has exclusively introduced Germany’s SA250 flagship kart, the only one in all of Pingtung. Race along the extended track, tackling U-turns, hairpins, and acceleration zones for an intense adrenaline rush. Kenting Drift, a newly introduced activity, features specially designed off-road buggies for competitive drifting. The course is crafted with carefully designed turns and unique ground friction control, making it a one-of-a-kind, ultra-exciting experience in Kenting.

Described as an adrenaline-fueled shooting game, paintball is one of the most popular outdoor recreational activities among young people. Kenting, in particular, with its natural pristine jungle terrain, is highly suitable for developing the sport. Dressed in camouflage, players search for their targets, defend fortified positions, and engage in intense two-team battles — the more participants, the more thrilling the experience. In addition, clay pigeon shooting experiences are also a popular and emerging form of entertainment.
