Taiwan International Travel Fair opens on 8/23 – Paris free & easy for 7 days at NT$45,900

The 2013 Taiwan International Travel Fair will take place from August 23 to 26 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This exhibition brings together more than 350 renowned exhibitors, with a total of 500 booths offering a wide range of special offers, including Skyrocket Travel Agency’s 5-day group tour to Korea at a pre-tax price of NT$4,990, round-trip flights to Hong Kong at NT$2,999 pre-tax, Junhua Travel Agency’s 5-day Tokyo & Osaka free & easy package at NT$11,900 inclusive of tax, Growth Travel Agency’s “European 7-Day Free & Easy – Paris Edition” originally priced at NT$59,900 inclusive of tax, now specially priced at NT$45,900. Dadi Holidays’ 20-day Siberian Railway backpacking trip, originally priced at NT$268,000 inclusive of tax, is now available for just NT$150,000.

Among the most eye-catching international budget tours at the 2013 Taiwan International Travel Fair, Tianhai Travel Agency is offering great deals on 5-day Osaka Fujiya free & easy and 5-day Tokyo Asakusa Smile free & easy, both at NT$12,900 inclusive of tax, with an additional NT$2,000 discount for the second person; Growth Travel Agency’s “France, Switzerland & Italy ~ Fall in Love with Ferrari 11-Day Tour” originally starting from NT$95,900, is now slashed to NT$86,900 (inclusive of tax) during the fair; Canaan Travel is offering a 5-day tour featuring three famous autumn foliage spots — Naeyonsan, Malsan, and Cheongnamdae — at a special price starting from NT$18,900 (inclusive of tax), with a maximum additional NT$2,000 discount for the second person when traveling as a pair; Star Cruises’ SuperStar Aquarius offers a four-day-three-night Okinawa double-holiday (Naha & Ishigaki Island) package including shore excursions, with promotional prices starting from NT$14,900, available from September 15 onward. The Philippine Department of Tourism has also gathered 12 travel agencies to offer a 5-day Boracay free & easy package at just NT$8,888 inclusive of tax.

As for the always-popular accommodation and restaurant vouchers at every travel fair, Fullon Group is offering a buy-five-get-one-free deal on both chain accommodation and dining vouchers, with discounts of around 15% off; Taipei Ching Tay Hotel is offering deluxe room vouchers at a special price of NT$2,399 (about 65% off) along with a buy-six-get-one-free promotion. In addition, Kaohsiung Hanxuan Hotel is offering a double room voucher (including breakfast for two) at NT$2,995 (55% off), Kenting Amanda Palace Holidays’ selected quadruple room is available at NT$5,800 (64% off), and Kenting Corner Fantastic Resort’s American-style RV camping accommodation vouchers, originally priced at NT$4,980, will be sold in limited quantities of 9 sets at just NT$99 per person during the travel fair, a discount of up to 99.7%.

 

Food lovers will be delighted to know that Taipei Ching Tay Hotel’s Golden Grain Western Restaurant is offering a deal where buying one meal voucher gets you five afternoon tea vouchers. Regent Group’s Park Lane Buffet’s self-service afternoon tea is NT$2,750 for 5 vouchers, and self-service dinner vouchers are NT$5,250 for 5 (around 10% off). Miramar’s San Fan Sukiyaki offers a couple’s voucher at NT$999 (22% off), and Eslite Mart’s Thai Market offers a 4-person voucher at NT$2,699 (21% off). Taipei Ambassador Hotel & Resorts also provides a weekday and weekend French lunch set voucher for one person at NT$2,900 for 5 vouchers (25% off), while Taipei World Trade Center Grand Hyatt’s Café Kafé is offering ten self-service lunch/dinner vouchers at NT$9,990 (10% off). In addition, The Luxury Collection’s combined two-person Western set menu is only NT$1,400 (35% off), and Taoyuan Park Regis’ two-person weekday lunch/dinner or weekend afternoon tea is just NT$999 (33% off).
