RobotKitty to Take Over Future Land After Yellow Duck, Coming to Kaohsiung Before December

 

The mastermind behind the third-generation Hello Kitty with more diverse and enriched elements, Yuko Yamaguchi—Sanrio’s chief designer of Kitty—arrived in Taiwan to attend the Robot Kitty Future Land hand-drawn meet-and-greet event. She personally painted and signed on an exclusive limited-edition autograph board for 20 fans, interacting closely with them. In addition, the organizers officially announced that Robot Kitty Future Land will move to Kaohsiung, fulfilling the expectations of enthusiastic fans from central and southern Taiwan.

Since becoming the third-generation Kitty designer in 1980, Yuko Yamaguchi has breathed new life into Kitty, adding diversity and even creating characters such as Kitty’s boyfriend Daniel and her pet Charmmykitty. To date, Kitty has become a globally popular icon with over 50,000 product variations sold in 109 countries. The futuristic vibe of Robot Kitty breaks away from the usual cute elements of Hello Kitty, prompting Ms. Yamaguchi to personally visit the Future Land to show her support and love for Robot Kitty through her actions.

 

Robot Kitty Future Land is entering its final countdown, with only 25 days left until the exhibition closes on October 20. Fans can take advantage of the last 25 days and the September Fan Appreciation Month promotions to visit the Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Robot Kitty Future Land will also be moving to Kaohsiung. Organizers stated: “Throughout the exhibition period, we have received numerous inquiries from people in central and southern Taiwan, hoping that Robot Kitty Future Land could move south to accommodate those who wish to visit multiple times or are unable to travel north. After long-term communication and evaluation, we have finally decided to hold the Robot Kitty Taiwan finale in Kaohsiung in mid-December!” The preliminary plan for Kaohsiung has been completed, and detailed information will be announced soon on the official website and Facebook fan page.
