When people think of Changhua, they often picture the Great Buddha on Bagua Mountain, but Changhua also has an incredibly dreamy pink container café shop. Located right next to the Changhua High-Speed Rail Station, “Hao-Yu Hao You Café” has become an IG hotspot in just about three months, thanks to its large front lawn and an array of colorful inflatable pool toys.

Though it’s a café, Hao-You Café is actually built from three stacked large containers, with a pink and light blue color scheme that’s an instant hit among young women. The second-floor container features a large window offering scenic views, allowing diners to enjoy their meals while taking in the pastoral landscape. The front lawn is adorned with giant hamburger picnic mats, a huge unicorn, a swan, and more, all available for guests to use freely.

The menu at Hao-You focuses mainly on pancakes and flatbreads. The flower-shaped pancakes are not only adorable in appearance, but their crispy outer layer paired with a soft interior, plus a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, creates a delightful contrast of hot and cold textures in your mouth. The flatbread, similar to pizza, is topped with a generous amount of fillings and melted cheese, served alongside pan-fried bacon and mashed potatoes—once you start, you won’t want to stop.

The entire café was built by two young men. Due to the high volume of visitors since opening, and because all food is made to order, customers may need to wait a bit. The owners also suggest visiting in the evening to catch the sunset.
