【Wednesday Special】Children under 12 enjoy free entry to Shangri-La Park’s Tung Blossom Festival

Shangri-La Park has been the main venue for the Hakka Tung Blossom Festival for five consecutive years. This year, in line with the government's main event, the park will offer free admission from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on April 12. The Council of Hakka Affairs will also provide a limited number of 2014 Tung Blossom Festival souvenirs for the public to collect. For collection details, please refer to the announcements on the 2014 Hakka Tung Blossom Festival official website. There will also be a series of activities including an online tung blossom photo contest.

To celebrate the arrival of the tung blossom season, Shangri-La Park invites families to come and admire the blossoms. From April 12 to May 31 during the flower season, children under 12 can enter for free when accompanied by a parent, and adults can enjoy an on-site discounted rate of 360 NT dollars. Within the park, there are exciting magic shows loved by both kids and adults, family-friendly mechanical rides, the culturally enriching Hakka Museum, a butterfly ecological area, and forest trails—inviting everyone to stroll through the beautiful tung blossom mountain scenery. The park’s traditional-style restaurant is certified as a Hakka specialty eatery by Miaoli County, serving delicious Chinese cuisine in both set meals and à la carte options. The souvenir street also offers exclusive Hakka-themed merchandise for the Tung Blossom Festival.

Want to spend the night amidst the tung blossom woods? The park’s Tung Blossom Resort Villas are definitely the top choice. With only 40 rooms, the resort offers a quiet, comfortable, and clean environment, featuring three room types: honeymoon double rooms, family quad rooms, and duplex six-person rooms. Both the double rooms and six-person rooms have windows facing outside, while the quad rooms come with private balconies.
