Manzamo, a classic spot in Onna Village, features a dramatic cliff formation resembling an elephant’s trunk that never fails to amaze. Continue along to Beiseki Ficus Avenue, strolling down pathways lined with ficus trees. Sunlight filters through the leaves, and the sound of waves nearby helps you unwind. End your day by visiting Kuwae Bridge while there’s still daylight—the stunning views on both sides are truly captivating.

 

【Day 4】

Traditional Japanese breakfast at the minshuku → Nirai Kanai Bridge → Chinen Cape Park → Café Kurukuma → Return rental car in Naha City → Kokusai Dori

Head south early to Nanjo City in the southern part of Okinawa, just to experience the thrill of driving across this uniquely shaped bridge that feels like it’s diving into the sea. Soon, you’ll arrive at Chinen Cape Park, a secluded yet spectacular park with breathtaking ocean views that soothe the soul.

Before heading home, visit Okinawa Shrine to pray to the deities who protect seafarers—and for another chance to return. Stop by Okinawa Beach nearby for one last look at Okinawa’s beautiful sea. If you have some extra time, cycle around Naha City or stroll through this World Heritage-listed garden, soaking in the beauty born from the fusion of Ryukyuan and Chinese cultures.

The lingering charm of the Ryukyu Kingdom and its complex history give Okinawa a rich cultural depth. From its distinctive cuisine to the exotic vibe of the former U.S. military presence, and ocean views so clear they look like movie sets, Okinawa captivates visitors.
