Masaya Uezo, Senior Planner of KANSAI COLLECTION Co., Ltd., also stated that KANSAI COLLECTION is held twice a year in spring/summer and autumn/winter, and has been organized seven times to date, attracting up to 30,000 visitors in a single day. The audience is predominantly female, making up about 90%, and it has become one of Japan’s four major fashion shows. This year, for the first time, Eelin Entertainment models have been invited to appear on the “Taiwan Stage” during the 2014 Autumn & Winter event, and the organizers warmly invite Taiwanese audiences to join and experience it. The KANSAI COLLECTION fashion event has received extensive coverage from Japanese media, with even TV Asahi editing it into a special feature set to air soon. KANSAI COLLECTION aims to share with the world a “cultural event originating in Kansai,”hoping to allow young women in the Kansai region to experience the latest trends in fashion, music, and talk shows. The 2014 Autumn & Winter Kansai fashion event features numerous well-known Japanese models and popular singers. The expected lineup includes familiar faces such as model and celebrity Lena Fujii, Tina Tamashiro, Yuki Kinoshita, Akiko Kumada, and AFTERSCHOOL member Nana; along with a special mystery guest you won’t want to miss. This is also the first time Taiwanese models have been invited to participate. Well-known Eelin Entertainment actress Jiayi Xia challenged herself in June this year by taking on her first full Japanese-language script, starring as the leading lady in an NHK special feature on the Forbidden City’s cultural relics, co-starring with acclaimed Japanese actor Shosuke Tanihara.
