The VIEW TRAVEL SERVICE, a member of the JR East Japan Group, will acquire 49% of the shares in "Creation Travel Service Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as "CTT"), a Taiwanese subsidiary of JALPAK, a company under the JAL Group, and jointly manage the business. To realize the concept of "Establishing roots in the region, expanding toward the world" announced in the "Group Management Vision 50 Moving Forward", the JR East Japan Group aims to strengthen its partnership with the JAL Group through investment in CTT, and to work towards further expanding the flow of people by introducing new railway tour products in the Taiwanese market.

The Asian region is expected to see continued growth in the number of travelers visiting Japan in the future. The JAL Group will leverage its extensive international flight network to attract more travelers from this region and further strengthen cooperation with the JR East Japan Group,enhancing the valueof individualized Japanese travel products.
