Since its debut in 2010, the Korean variety show "Running Man" has become a sensation across Asia, visiting places such as Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia... and more, causing fan frenzies with airport meet-and-greets and car chases wherever it goes. In August this year, the Running Man cast visited Taiwan for the first time to film the "1470 Amusement Park Special." Their whirlwind 15-hour itinerary also sent local fans into a frenzy. In the recently aired "1470 Amusement Park Special," the cast and guests challenged the most thrilling rides at famous theme parks across Korea and completed assigned missions. Those who failed to complete the final mission of resetting 1470 to zero had to fly 1,470 kilometers to Taiwan to face an ultimate punishment—riding an extremely intense amusement park attraction.

Wolmi My Land (Moonlight Island My Land)– South Korea 'Incheon
Wolmi My Land is a comprehensive theme park on Moonlight Island in Incheon, renowned for its 4,000 pyeong (approx. 13,200 sqm) size and numerous large-scale attractions. In the "Running Man" special, hosts Kim Jong-kook and guest Kim Tae-woo visited Wolmi My Land and had to complete a mission on the park’s essential ride—the pirate ship. But don’t think it’s just like any other pirate ship; compared to the usual two-story versions, Wolmi My Land’s pirate ship is even taller, making it one of the most thrilling rides in Korea. Additionally, the Disco Pang Pang ride at Wolmi Island Theme Park is a frequent feature in Korean variety shows, such as the popular "We Got Married," which was also filmed there.

Tongdo Fantasia (Tongdo Fantasia)– South Korea 'South Gyeongsang Province
Tongdo Fantasia is located in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, near Ulsan, Busan, and Miryang, and is the largest theme park in the Yeongnam region. The roller coaster, standing 40 meters high above the lake with a track length of 920 meters, featuring three inversions and two consecutive 360-degree loops, is the ride where the so-called "Monday Couple" Gary and Korean singer Ailee challenged their high-altitude karaoke. Meanwhile, hosts HaHa and Skull rode the APOLLO, a ride that spins you 360 degrees and completely turns your world upside down. Not only has Running Man visited Tongdo Fantasia, but its Ferris wheel was also the filming location for the romantic scene in the hit idol drama "My Love from the Star," where supporting actor Park Hae-jin confessed his love to actress Jun Ji-hyun, and leading man Kim Soo-hyun paused time before stealing a glance at her.
