● Songshan Station
Inspired by the original name of the Songshan Line—“Xikou,” which in the Pingpu language means “a gathering place where rivers curve,” the space art “Yu Jian” extends the poetic concept of “where rivers bend, one encounters the Floral Light Dome.” It also symbolizes how the Songshan Line has now become a commercial hub integrating land, sea, and air transport.

The large-scale public art installation “Yu Jian” is situated in the transfer corridor between the metro and Taiwan Railways at Songshan Station. The high-ceilinged space is equipped with 50,250 LED lights and fluorescent tubes arranged in vertically staggered patterns to create undulating shapes. This setup offers a multi-layered, dynamic visual experience. Controlled by computer systems, the lights produce dreamlike, colorful displays that flow like clouds, vividly showcasing the rich historical origins of Songshan.
