Last year, the Guting Riverside Flower Sea was highly praised by Taipei residents, and this year, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Public Works’ Bureau of Water Resources has once again rolled out a highlight attraction. In the romantic season of early autumn breeze, it’s set to wow Taipei citizens once more. Now, when you arrive at Guting Riverside Park, the first thing that greets your eyes is a series of heart shapes of varying sizes stretching across the expansive landscape lawn, spreading outward in an unbroken expanse—symbolizing the endless expression of romantic love.

Along the bike path, visitors are greeted by a sea of heart-shaped floral patterns. Using color gradients and layering, angelonia and cockscomb flowers in shades of red, white, pink, yellow, orange, and purple create a warm burst of color and a cool, romantic atmosphere. Moreover, standing on the elevated platform of the Hakka Cultural Park allows visitors to take in the full view of the flower sea and admire the artistic arrangement of the heart motifs. While strolling around, you can also snap photos with the heart-shaped floral displays. With LOVE-themed art installations, couples can stand within the red loops on either end to have their photo taken, symbolically encircling each other in love. Picture-frame-shaped art pieces offer the chance to capture beautiful memories. Let’s walk hand-in-hand along the pathways and enjoy the wonderful moments in the riverside park.
