Wanjing Town is incredibly charming with 24 colorful murals, even more magical during the Christmas season!
In recent years, the Wanjing Christmas Festival has successfully integrated art with local culture, and landscape art has become one of its distinctive features. This year’s Wanjing Christmas Festival is expected to be illuminated on December 6. A 3D white dove ground painting has already been created to convey the gospel and love. There are also 24 colorful murals in the alleys of the local community. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Wanjing Basilica being conferred the title of Basilica. Within the Wanjing Basilica complex, 15 marble carvings specially depict the Passion of Jesus for the people and His resurrection. Visitors to the Wanjing Christmas Festival can enjoy not only the lively festivities but also a deeper sense of humanity and art!
