Luis del Olmo Pinero, Executive Vice President of Meliá Hotels International, shared his experience in global expansion under the theme of "Analysis of Global Layout Strategies for International Chain Hotels," identifying the fastest path to entering the international market. He focused on matching the right brand with the right customer, identifying potential customer segments, and actively collaborating with online booking platforms and meta-search engines in response to the wave of modern technology, ensuring that the real-time needs of mid-range, high-end, and other customer levels are not missed. Meanwhile, the CEO of Relais & Châteaux proposed transforming the framework of hotel management into one akin to poetic service ambiance, prioritizing guests’ dreams, and carving out the top of the consumption pyramid by targeting (VIPs of the Relais & Châteaux International Boutique Hotel Alliance), offering the utmost hotel experiences — experiences that should never be promoted through discounts or price cuts. He believes boutique hotels should have such confidence in themselves. Taiwan also has hoteliers who have earned Relais & Châteaux certification, demonstrating the unlimited potential of Taiwan’s tourism market.

Lee Tung-Bin, CEO of The Regent Hotels Group, and Su Guo??, assistant professor at National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, engaged in discussions under the theme of "talent," covering topics such as how to cultivate confidence and innovation among global managerial and tourism talents... Lee Tung-Bin pointed out the common issue in the industry — reluctance to train employees. The reasons behind bosses being "stingy" may include concerns about employees leaving for other jobs or unwillingness to invest in them. However, such an attitude can lead to a vicious cycle of excessive poaching and talent drain, resulting in a severe shortage of mid-to-senior level management.

He encouraged young people to proactively develop themselves and strive for excellence.
