The globally adored “Hello Kitty,” who celebrates her 40th birthday this year, has been the focus of celebrations around the world. Recently, in her home country of Japan, Hello Kitty partnered with the well-known Tokyo Keio PLAZA Hotel to launch two limited-time room types: the “Pink Princess Kitty Room” and the “Kitty Town” room. On Christmas Day, there will even be a special light show on the hotel’s exterior to mark the grand celebration of her 40th birthday.

Hello Kitty has collaborated with Keio PLAZA Hotel to offer two themed room types at both the Shinjuku and Tama branches from November 1 to March 1 of the following year.“Pink Princess Kitty Room”From the carpet and walls to the beds and bathroom amenities, everything is designed in varying shades of pink. There’s even a pink high-heel-shaped chair that’s incredibly eye-catching. Unlike the Pink Princess Room,“Kitty Town”the Kitty Town room adopts a light color palette and polka dot style decor, featuring a wall illustration of Kitty and her friends enjoying a trip to an amusement park, instantly immersing guests in a joyful and exciting travel atmosphere upon entering.
