Taiwan’s First Art HotelEslite Hotel Songyan officially began its soft opening on December 15, breaking away from traditional hotel thinking by combining the shopping mall, bookstore, arts cinema, performance hall, and other facilities of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park to pioneer a new business model—making the hotel more than just a place to stay, but a space where guests can “quietly experience life and extend their imagination to the infinite.”

Eslite Hotel, adjacent to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, stands 15 stories tall with 104 guest rooms and three distinctive dining spaces. The rooms are located from the 3rd to the 15th floor. Their design and furnishings not only exude a strong humanistic atmosphere but are also subtly connected to local Taiwanese culture. It is the world’s first art hotel that integrates literary reading, cultural and creative retail, music and film, greenery, and nature, delivering an immersive life experience. Room rates start at NT$14,500 per night.

The 15th-floor Humanities Suite is a spacious themed room featuring hundreds of classic books selected by Eslite.Meanwhile, the first-floor “Lounge The Lounge” is another highlight of Eslite Hotel, offering handcrafted coffee and a wide selection of drinks. It houses over 5,000 books, collected from bestsellers that were down to their last copies.

The second-floor restaurant “In Between” serves authentic European cuisine and offers a collection of wines from Europe, America, and Australia, as well as introducing its signature electrostatic dry-aged steak. Beyond the abundance of books, artworks by contemporary Taiwanese artists are displayed throughout the hotel, with recent exhibitions featuring works by Lin Ming-Hong, Su Wang-Shen, Huang Ben-Ruey, Kuo Wen-Hsiang, and Chiu ? Lan. Starting its soft opening today, Eslite Hotel also introduces various Christmas packages and limited New Year’s Eve stay promotions.The soft opening period is expected to run until February 28 of next year.

【Info】 In Between: With an elegant interior, the restaurant serves a variety of refined European dishes, utilizing a special “electrostatic dry-aging” technique paired with a selection of fine wines from Europe, America, and Australia stored in a unique four-sided wine cellar.
