The well-known Japanese affordable fashion brand “GU” has announced plans to open a standalone store in Taichung, with a grand opening scheduled at Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya in the summer of 2015. The Japanese fast fashion brand GU is demonstrating its commitment to the Taiwanese market by actively expanding into Taichung’s fashion hub, allowing more consumers to enjoy the free-spirited charm of GU fashion.

Since its first entry into the Taiwanese market in September 2014, GU quickly established two stores within two months at Taipei ATT4FUN and Ming Yao Department Store. In 2015, it will open its first Central Taiwan location at Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya. With a refined and fashionable interior design, Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya is a hub for international luxury brands and a gathering place for fashion trends. The GU Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya store will be the city’s first standalone outlet, continuing the brand DNA of “making fashion more accessible,” offering a complete range of men’s, women’s, children’s clothing, and accessories. In the summer of 2015, it will also introduce the latest trend-driven styles, becoming a new fashion destination for Taichung shoppers.
