A Hundred Works by Japanese Illustration Master Iwasaki Chihiro on Display in Taiwan – The Largest Original Exhibition in Asia

Deputy Director of the Chihiro Art Museum, Takezuka YPko, delivered a speech at the press conference.
The press conference also featured a surprise highlight—a birthday cake for the artwork “The Girl with the Red Hat”!
This exhibition is the largest display of Iwasaki Chihiro’s original works in Asia, featuring a hundred original illustrations from the Chihiro Art Museum. It not only showcases the innocent expressions of children, but also the delicate brushwork and soft, vibrant colors that bring warmth and a carefree sense of childhood.
The exhibition also introduces the life of Iwasaki Chihiro.
Iwasaki Chihiro was a renowned illustration master in Japan. She passed away in 1974 at the age of 55 due to illness. The Chihiro Art Museum was established in her hometown of Anjo, Nagano Prefecture, and continues to showcase her artistic achievements to the world.
