As early summer arrives, the Twin Hearts Pond at Baishi Lake has quietly donned a fresh new look, presenting a completely different atmosphere. To offer visitors to Baishi Lake delightful surprises in every season, the surroundings of the Twin Hearts Pond also undergo a seasonal color makeup plan. Amid a busy work life, why not visit the Baishi Lake community to relax and take a leisurely stroll?

This time, the color theme of the Twin Hearts Pond makeover features purple, white, and red. Purple and white angel balsams, along with red balsams, are used. The inner island area features red balsams arranged in a heart shape to symbolize love, surrounded by pure white angel balsams to set them off. The outer ring of the double hearts is accented with romantic purple angel balsams to create a blissful feeling. Balsam juice can be used to dye fingernails, hence it's also known as "nail flower"—a natural nail dye with blood-circulating and swelling-reducing effects. Angel balsams symbolize innocence and success in all endeavors, also called water nymphs, with their four-lobed, lip-shaped petals looking quite playful and adorable. In addition, lilies, representing purity and flawlessness, are also expected to bloom gradually in mid-to-late May. When they sway in the wind upon blooming, they offer the most spectacular visual feast.

Besides admiring the beautified scenery of the Twin Hearts Pond, you can also explore other nearby attractions. Stroll across the romantic purple-and-white Baishi Lake Suspension Bridge, whose design is inspired by a dragon’s skeleton and spans across the valley with excellent views. As you walk on it, the rotating bridge allows you to gaze out at different mountain vistas. Additionally, not far away, there’s the “Couple Trees” attraction where two red nanmu trees lean affectionately toward each other. A large lingzhi mushroom has also grown under the red nanmu trees, attracting many visitors.
