This year, Taipei 101 has created its seasonal display with a focus on sustainable charity and art promotion, collaborating specially with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Taiwan (TSPCA). Together with the works of Taiwanese artist Wu Jinwei, the initiative encourages the public to donate generously to support animal welfare advocacy.

Taipei 101 is showcasing 101 “Lucky Dog” pieces as part of its interior displays, using eye-catching flash appearances to create photo-worthy spots and promote the artists’ works. In addition to helping artists realize their dreams, Taipei 101 also calls on the public to care for small lives through online donations and limited-edition charity sales during the Year of the Dog.

After the display period ends, Taipei 101 will arrange for the 101 “Lucky Dog” artworks to be delivered to their new owners. All funds raised during the event will be donated in full to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Taiwan (TSPCA).

For this collaboration, Taipei 101 chose TSPCA, an organization dedicated to advocating for the welfare of all animals and promoting humane treatment through legal means. Artist Wu Jinwei, a multiple design award winner, is known for transforming traditional, polluting fiberglass materials into recyclable plastics—an exceptional artist who successfully bridges dreams with reality. The “Lucky Dog” artworks are also made from recyclable eco-friendly plastic.
