With summer here, the convenience store ice cream battle heats up again. 7-ELEVEN, the leader in convenience stores, has launched a brand-new Aomori Apple flavor starting June 6. The first batch is available exclusively at 35 stores, and from June 8, fans can enjoy it at all 1,010 7-ELEVEN outlets nationwide. Over the years, 7-ELEVEN has collaborated with many Japanese producers to launch local specialty ice creams, including the Hokkaido Yubari Melon flavor in 2014 and the Fukuoka Strawberry flavor in early 2015, both of which were beloved by fans. Now, it’s back with Aomori Apple ice cream, made with Aomori apple juice and rich Hokkaido Tokachi milk, creating an ice cream with a mildly tart apple aroma and a creamy, milky richness.
