Enjoy the most beautiful lakeside scenery – Rest chairs newly installed at Dahu Park Station

By taking the Taipei MRT to Dahu Park Station on the Wenhu Line, visitors can enjoy a sweeping view of the park’s shimmering waters through the large floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor — a sight that often stops people in their tracks. Now, to allow everyone to more comfortably take in the scenery, Taipei MRT has newly installed six “rest chairs” right in front of these windows, giving busy urbanites a chance to slow down, admire the view, and relax as they pass through.

The six rest chairs are located on the second-floor lobby near Exit 2 of Dahu Park Station, providing passengers with a place to sit and rest. Adjacent to the station, Dahu Park features not only the well-known Wisteria Bridge and Zigzag Bridge, but also newly renovated facilities including lawn areas, fishing zones, planting areas, pathways, and pavilions by the Taipei City Government last year. Consider planning an urban green escape on the weekend to stroll, relax, and enjoy a forest bath amid the phytoncides. Additionally, nearby Bailu Ridge Mountain, standing at 142 meters above sea level, offers a gently sloped hiking trail perfect for families. The mountain is densely wooded with plenty of shade, making the hike cool and refreshing for both body and mind.
