The Yurakucho MUJI Uniqlo store reopened on September 4th after renovation. This brand-new MUJI occupies three floors with a total area of 3,277 square meters, making it currently the world’s largest and most comprehensive MUJI flagship store. It integrates all recent operational concepts, offering a completely new interpretation of MUJI Uniqlo.

Following the opening of the first MUJI bookstore in Fukuoka’s Hakata, which sparked widespread discussion and attention, the Yurakucho MUJI has carefully selected over 10,000 books. Architectural design firm Atelier Bow-Wow was invited to design and arrange the bookshelves, which extend from the first floor all the way to the second floor space, resembling a bridge made of books and becoming the most eye-catching display in the store.

On the third floor, in addition to a rich display of MUJI home goods, the biggest highlight is the two major services launched for the “MUJI HOUSE” project. These include the existing INFILL+ service, which assists with partial space renovations, as well as the newly added INFILL 0 service, which helps restore renovated spaces back to their original state to unlock new possibilities. Both offer customers a variety of interior decoration consultations and planning services.
