Known as the “travel anniversary sale,” the Taipei International Travel Fair not only offers a wide variety of discounted travel products from tourism organizations, airlines, and travel agencies around the world, but also sees star-rated hotels launching their strongest-ever promotions on meal vouchers, accommodation certificates, and afternoon tea deals. In addition, this year the event features the most giveaways ever, including lucky draws, mystery gift bags, credit card spending rewards, and early bird and spending incentives in the Love Travel theme zone, with a total value of over NT$15 million in prizes—more than any previous year.

This year’s new exhibitors include the California Tourism Bureau, Taiwan China American Express, Chihpin Jinlian Century Hotel, Shenmugu Holiday Hotel, and Flying Fish Holidays Travel Agency. Countries returning to the fair after a hiatus include Canada, Fiji, and the Czech Republic. Popular destinations among Taiwanese travelers such as Japan, Thailand, South Korea, the United States, and Hong Kong are all present, with Japan alone occupying 157 booths (including the Japan Pavilion, Japan Airlines, Zone H on the second floor of Hall 1, and JAPANKURU), making it the country with the largest presence. Domestic organizations are also participating enthusiastically, with the Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Council of Agriculture promoting “tribal tourism” and “fruit-picking routes,” offering distinctive travel experiences in different seasons.
