● Shin Mabu Seagull
The first Taiwan branch of Korea’s Shin Mabu Seagull opened on November 14th in the alleyways of Yanji Street in Taipei’s Dongcheng district. All equipment, sauces, and grilling techniques have been authentically imported from Korea to deliver the most genuine and delicious Korean barbecue. Must-try signature dishes include “Seagull Meat” and “Ring-Shaped Scrambled Eggs.” The “Seagull Meat” actually refers to pork skirt meat, commonly known in Taiwan as dry-connected meat. Additionally, the staff will prepare “ring-shaped scrambled eggs” in the grooves around the circular grill plate using a mixture of egg and kimchi. It not only retains the natural sweetness of the eggs but also offers a subtle tangy-spicy flavor from the kimchi.
