The 2015 Xinshe Flower Sea and Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival officially kicked off on the 7th of this month. The endless expanse of colorful flower carpets is truly breathtaking, attracting many visitors to come and admire the flowers. To help flower-viewing tourists access transportation and travel information more conveniently, the Taichung City Government has also compiled transportation and travel information, launching five “clever tips” for flower viewing as well as a “transportation guide,” hoping to enhance everyone’s enjoyment of the event.

In addition, to encourage the use of public transportation, in addition to planning four shuttle bus routes for this year's Xinshe Flower Sea, ten additional public bus routes have been added to improve transport capacity. These include routes 31, 91, 264, 265, 270, 271, 272, 275, 276, and 277. It is also recommended that those who wish to drive themselves should set off before 9:00 AM to avoid the traffic control period.
