Ring in Christmas and the New Year with the romantic blue sea of lights on the North Coast

To welcome the Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Lunar New Year holidays, the North Coast Scenic Area Administration has installed outdoor light displays at various sites within its jurisdiction, including Sanzhi Shallow Bay, Shimen White Sand Bay and Wedding Square, Jinshan Zhongshan Hall, Wanli Yehliu, and Keelung Lakeshore Bay. From now until February 29, 2016, visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere every evening from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Each location features light displays with unique themes: Sanzhi Shallow Bay’s “Jumping Notes” combines various musical notes with fluttering butterflies to convey a joyful vibe; Shimen White Sand Bay’s “Cheers to Happiness” uses insects, animals, and a forest party theme to create a lively festive atmosphere; Shimen Wedding Square’s “Mediterranean Lovers” presents a romantic scene with blue, white, and blue-purple LED frames; Jinshan Zhongshan Hall’s “L.O.V.E” expresses love between partners and family through large lettering; Wanli Yehliu’s “Embrace of the North Sea” shows gratitude to the ocean’s gifts with a seascape and crab lanterns; Keelung Lakeshore Bay’s “Song of the Ocean” illuminates the entire area with blue lights to highlight coastal beauty.
