Tokyo Disneyland Transforms into the Frozen Kingdom in a Magical Debut

In 2016, Tokyo Disneyland specially launched a special event titled “Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy” from January 12 to March 18. Not only will Anna, Elsa, and Olaf appear in the park, but they will also perform together in the brand-new parade “Frozen Fantasy Parade.” Fans of Anna, Elsa, and Olaf shouldn’t miss “Anna & Elsa’s Winter Frolic,” where they can sing and dance along with their favorite characters for a joyful time. Additionally, the highly acclaimed nighttime entertainment show “Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall – Winter Special Edition –,” which was a huge hit during its limited run last year, will make a comeback, this time presented in Japanese, featuring classic scenes from Disney’s movie *Frozen*.

During the event period, photo spots for Anna and Elsa will be set up at the main entrance. The ice crystal castle decoration with sound and light effects will be in the center of World Bazaar, welcoming visitors into the world of Disney’s *Frozen*. Moreover, this year, new photo spots featuring the rock trolls and Sven will debut in the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle. Additionally, Fantasyland will be adorned with special decorations, evoking the elegant charm of Arendelle Castle and its square, and a photo spot with Olaf will be available for guests to take memorable pictures. The adorable snowman from the short film *Frozen Fever* will also be hidden around the park, filling the entire venue with a delightful winter atmosphere.

Just being in the frozen kingdom isn’t enough. During “Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy,” the park has introduced about 90 varieties of exclusive merchandise. Products such as postcards and candy cookies feature designs showing Anna, Elsa, and Olaf happily playing in the icy wonderland. Meanwhile, the “Crystal Palace Restaurant” has been transformed into the birthday party venue that Elsa prepared for Anna in the Disney short film *Frozen Fever*, offering an all-you-can-eat menu inspired by the movie world, with dishes and treats themed around Olaf and other little snowmen. A variety of special meals are available, including little snowman buns and desserts served with “Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy” commemorative cups.
