Taichung’s Ultra-Luxurious Boutique Motel “One Room, One Garden” Takes You on a World Tour

Taiwanese motels pull out all the stops, with fresh and fun accommodation experiences becoming alternative tourist attractions. A boutique motel in Taichung City, resembling a European castle and named “Ballet Classic Motel,” has garnered attention for its “one room, one garden” super-sized themed space, which has become a hot topic. Trial operations have begun as of today, with an official opening scheduled for February 1.

Taichung has a particularly high density of motels, making competition quite fierce. Each establishment is pulling out all the stops, competing not only on grandeur and luxury but also on creativity. The “Ballet Classic Motel” takes green, oxygen-rich living as its theme, incorporating hundreds of plant species, including native Taiwanese plants and century-old Japanese pines, set against a castle-like structure that makes it even more unique. Offering guests a variety of accommodation options, the “Ballet Classic Motel” has a total of 55 rooms, including 22 business rooms and 33 one-room-one-garage motel rooms. The most distinctive feature is that each motel room is designed around a world-famous attraction, hoping to give guests the fresh feeling of visiting a different country with every room they stay in.
