A giant portion—about 6 slices—is sold for 50 NT dollars. The idea to start selling them initially came from worries that there would be no customers in the stir-fry shop in the afternoon, plus the boss’s wife herself is a big fan of scallion pancakes, which led to the start of making them. Made fresh daily and hand-wrapped on the spot, these pancakes spare no expense in loading up on plenty of green onions, and are paired with a crispy yet chewy crust, along with a mix of minced meat and flour flavors, giving the whole pancake a hearty yet juicy texture. Topped off with shredded cheese and pickled radish, the title “Best in Kaohsiung” is well-deserved.

▲ Aside from the minced meat and plenty of green onions, cheese also plays a pretty important role. (Photo/IG provided, please do not repost without permission to avoid copyright infringement.)@loveyuka06Provided, please do not reproduce without permission to avoid copyright infringement.
