Last year, a new all-you-can-eat restaurant opened at the Taichung National Theater, and its high-end decor sparked a trend. VVG Hideaway
Located in Yangmingshan, VVG Hideaway is a pure white glass house surrounded by lush trees and European-style garden landscaping, creating an immersive hideaway atmosphere. Inside the glass structure, wooden tables, antique decor, and a rustic countryside vibe greet you. The small greenhouse inside is filled with green plants, and the floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a verdant paradise. Sit in the lounge area, gaze at the endless greenery, and unwind lazily. Warm sunlight streams through the transparent glass ceiling, filling the space with natural light—a favorite spot for Instagram influencers to snap charming afternoon tea photos.

Located in Taipei’s Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, VVG Action opened in the summer of 2013, right next to the Eslite Cinema. The overall theme is American movie studio style, with large studio lights and movie theater chairs at the entrance. Dress up in vintage-style attire, and you’ll feel like you’re on the set of *The Great Gatsby*. The unique studio aesthetic paired with refined Western cuisine makes it a popular choice for holidays and celebrations.

VVG Food Play
Opened last year, VVG Food Play is an all-you-can-eat restaurant created in collaboration between VVG and the Taichung National Theater, located on the fifth floor of the venue. It’s divided into savory and dessert zones, with an elegant and refined overall style. The tables feature cheeses, roast chicken, pasta, cured meats, steaks, and more from around the world—unlike typical buffets, it feels like attending a chic party.
▲The dessert section also includes an outdoor garden with flowers, plants, and a lovely fountain, making it a perfect spot for photos with the greenery and chats with friends.
