The highly discussed online campaign “Marianas Tourism Bureau: One-Week Intern” has announced its finalists, with sun-kissed female captain Chen Zimin taking home the honors. She not only secured a one-week internship in the Marianas but also pocketed an easy NT$60,000 weekly salary, leaving everyone else envious.
The Marianas Tourism Bureau has hosted the one-week internship program in Taiwan for five consecutive years to widespread acclaim, earning a reputation as the “best internship.” The bureau stated that it aims to recruit tourism ambassadors through the campaign, seeking creative individuals to promote local tourism. This year, the competition attracted numerous participants, with three finalists—Chen Zimin, Liang Shuwei, and Zhang Yuqi—making it to the final round. In the end, Chen Zimin came out on top and won the one-week internship opportunity.
The Marianas Tourism Bureau noted that this year’s top three contestants competed fiercely, each showcasing their unique strengths to impress the judges. Impressed by their promotional skills, the bureau will invite all three to the Marianas to engage in tourism promotion activities.
This year’s champion, Chen Zimin, is striking in appearance, with her healthy wheatish skin tone standing out among the contestants. A two-time participant, she normally works as a female captain in Kenting and as a mermaid school instructor. Her healthy and sunny image caught the judges’ attention.
