That’s right—true to its classic British charm, the owner, Mr. Daniel Bullivant, is a genuine British gentleman who’s traveled the world with his tools. But when he arrived in Hualien, the island’s breathtaking scenery won him over, and he even had the romantically fortuitous encounter that led to meeting his current wife.
 
Having observed Taiwan’s barber scene for some time, Daniel noticed that although hair salons abound, most cater primarily to women, with only a handful of family-oriented barbershops or budget-friendly hundred-dollar cuts. That’s why Hualien now has a male-focused British Gentleman Barbershop—no complicated blow-drying or styling, just expert grooming tailored for men under Daniel’s skilled hands.

Hailing from central England, he entered the trade as a teenager. Years of experience and training have made him adept at traveling the world with just his scissors.
