The 2016 Alishan Flower Festival began on March 10, but many cherry blossoms had already started blooming from late February, serving as an early prelude to the festival. Based on cherry blossom viewing information provided by Mr. Huang Yuanming from Xianglin Elementary School in Alishan on his fan page “Alishan Amidst the Clouds,” four spots in Alishan are currently showcasing stunning cherry blossoms.
