Another Michelin-starred gem lands in Taiwan: Tokyo’s one-star yakitori restaurant Torikichi to open in April

Following the arrivals of Tsuta ramen and Liao Fan Hawker Chan’s soy sauce chicken rice, yet another Michelin-starred dining experience is set to debut in Taiwan. The Tokyo-based yakitori restaurant “Torikichi,” which has earned one Michelin star for seven consecutive years, will be introduced to Taiwan by the local Orange Flame International Catering Group, with an expected opening in mid-April. Additionally, the same group has secured the rights to open a second branch of Fukuoka’s Kawabata Kamuiya, to be named Taipei Xinyi Branch. Both restaurants will be located at Neo 19.
