Its biggest highlight is the incorporation of fresh, youthful creative elements by popular illustrator Lu's, who has designed various interactive themed backdrops featuring the wildly popular Dada and Feifei. This has transformed the granary, which has stood for over sixty years, into a vibrant art village that attracts many visitors eager to take photos.

Opened on November 20, 2014, Baibao Village was created from a granary built in the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), which has been standing for over 75 years. The walls feature Lu's artistic creations, blending Changhua’s local characteristics into his style. He has custom-designed exclusive artworks for every corner of Baibao Village. The vibrant colors combined with the super cute characters not only make for great photo opportunities but also allow visitors to enjoy the contrast and charm of modern vitality mixed with historical flair when they visit Baibao Village in Changhua.

Baibao Village was initiated under the Changhua County Local Creative Specialty Industry and Cultural New Park Subsidy Plan. It brings together over 100 specialty shops and more than 500 different products, allowing visitors to see everything in one place. Featuring many agricultural specialties and boutique items unique to Changhua, it’s like a village full of treasures, condensed with all the beautiful gems of Changhua, waiting for visitors to come and explore.
