Tainan’s Bailiue Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Avenue rose to prominence after being listed among the world’s 15 most beautiful flower tunnel roads by foreign media. It draws many tourists each flowering season. This year, the buds are more plentiful than ever, and the upcoming bloom is highly anticipated.

This year’s Bailiue Cotton Tree Festival is expected to kick off on March 19, running for two weeks. During the event, guided tours and street performances will be held on weekends. Take the opportunity to admire the fiery red cotton blossoms and explore nearby attractions such as Little South Sea Scenic Area, Jingliao Riceless Happy Community, Guanziling Hot Spring Area, and Dongshan Coffee Leisure Park, immersing yourself in Tainan’s rural leisure charm. Due to weather conditions, this year’s blooming period has been slightly delayed compared to previous years.Taiwan’s cotton trees typically bloom from mid- to late March to the end of March.Flowering cotton trees can still be seen around Bailiue until early April.
