Hundreds of Phalaenopsis orchids in full bloom at the Shilin Official Residence Orchid Exhibition

The "Orchid Exhibition" held by the Shilin Official Residence at the New Orchid Pavilion debuted on March 12. Visitors can admire over 400 Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium orchids from as many as 18 varieties. Whether grand orchid arrangements or charming and cute potted combinations, you can find them all here！

The Department of Parks and Recreation stated that among this year’s exhibits, the Phalaenopsis variety "Colorful Butterfly" is the most distinctive, featuring a pink hue with large white spots that is truly unique, like spring butterflies kissing a lover’s cheek. For those who enjoy floral fragrance, don’t assume orchids only have beauty but no scent—the Dendrobium variety "Pocket Lover" is not to be missed. When in bloom, it emits waves of jasmine-like fragrance, surprisingly rich and intoxicating. The Shilin Official Residence Orchid Exhibition runs from now until April 16. Orchid lovers should definitely seize the opportunity.
