The popular cartoon character HELLO KITTY now has a themed restaurant. Following the success of hot pot shops, dessert shops, and beverage stores, Sanrio Taiwan has created yet another — the “HELLO KITTY Tea Time,” a tea-themed eatery located in the West Central District of Tainan City, officially opening on June 19.

Officially authorized by Sanrio Taiwan, the “HELLO KITTY Tea Time” uses Taiwanese tea as its theme, while also integrating local Tainan culture to create a tea restaurant full of Taiwanese style. The three-story building has also attracted the attention of many KITTY fans.

The “HELLO KITTY Tea Time” opened on June 19 on Kaishan Road in Tainan’s West Central District. Trial operations ran from June 15 to 17, and phone reservations are now open to the public. Those who want to enjoy the authentic taste of Taiwanese tea in HELLO KITTY’s dreamy world now have yet another place to visit.
