Cool off this summer with water fun！ The 2016 Taipei Water Festival kicks off

The 2016 Taipei Water Festival begins on June 25 and runs through August 31 at the Gongguan Water Park. In addition to the existing Water Town Garden, temporary water play facilities will be installed to offer more space for water activities and relaxation. Additionally, a series of programs including water play facilities, diverse activities, and environmental education courses will help visitors learn about safe water play, ecological environments, and cultural arts.

This year, the festival collaborates specially with the Taipei City Government’s Council of Indigenous Peoples Affairs Commission, jointly organizing a series of Aboriginal cultural events in July and August. In addition to Aboriginal food and product promotion booths available every Saturday and Sunday (July 2 – August 28) at the Water Park, a series of exciting performances will also take place starting July 9.

The 2016 Taipei Water Festival runs from June 25 to August 31 at the Water Park. Full-price tickets are NT$80, child tickets NT$50, and children under 115 cm tall or under six years old enter free. Everyone is welcome to come cool off and enjoy the water at the Water Park this summer.
