AirAsia launches LINE-themed aircraft's maiden flight to Taiwan with interactive promotions

Asia’s largest low-cost carrier AirAsia has introduced a “LINE-themed aircraft,” scheduled to arrive in Taiwan on June 28 and July 7. It has also launched its official LINE account for Taiwan, offering exclusive LINE FRIENDS promotional fares — a one-way untaxed fare from Taipei to Kota Kinabalu for just NT$980, and from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur for only NT$1,890, with travel available through the end of November.

On June 28 and July 7, AirAsia has specially arranged for its globally unique LINE-themed aircraft to visit Taiwan. Passengers can fly alongside cute LINE stickers like Brown and Cony. After boarding, they can also use the Wi-Fi on the LINE-themed plane to take photos with the fun interior at high altitude. In the future, the LINE-themed aircraft will also operate irregular flights on the Taipei–Kota Kinabalu route.

To celebrate the official launch of AirAsia’s official LINE account in Taiwan, exclusive LINE Friends promotional fares are being offered. From July 4 to July 10, 2016, you can purchase a one-way untaxed fare from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur for NT$1,890, and from Taipei to Kota Kinabalu for NT$980. Additionally, you can connect from Kuala Lumpur to popular destinations such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, all for less than NT$4,000 one-way untaxed. Travel dates are from July through the end of November.
