Water Skiing Carnival: 700-meter Water Slide Challenges Asia’s Longest

Nantou County’s Xinyi Township is hosting a Grape Festival and Water Skiing Carnival, complete with Asia’s longest 700-meter water slide. Visitors can take in the beautiful vineyard scenery on both sides, breathe in fresh mountain air, and enjoy the refreshing excitement of the winding water slide.

Xinyi Township is famous for its Kyoho grapes. To promote local agricultural products, the township office organized the “Grape Festival and Water Skiing Carnival,” setting up a 700-meter inflatable water slide along the old Provincial Highway 21. From July 13 to August 21, visitors can enjoy delicious Kyoho grapes while cooling off and having fun on the water slide during the hot summer days.

The water slide activity offers both reservation and on-site registration. Ticket pricing includes a “Double Fun Combo” (water slide and Glass Light Bridge) at NT$500 on weekdays and NT$700 on holidays, a Sunset Special (3 PM–5 PM) at NT$300, and a special rate of NT$200 for Xinyi residents at all times except holidays—making it a perfect summer family destination.
