The "Giant Green Island Mushroom" is located at a depth of 18 meters. The collapsed area was home to the same type of coral. Local residents and relevant authorities are actively working on rescue efforts and attempting to upright it as much as possible, hoping the "Giant Green Island Mushroom" can continue to grow. Following Typhoon Meranti, Typhoon Megi arrived soon after. Local divers also took great care to secure it with iron bars to prevent further severe damage from the typhoon.
