Travelers have been eagerly awaiting it—the world’s most beautiful flower-lined avenue, the “Lin Chuchi Kapok Blossoms,” has bloomed！Nearly a thousand kapok trees line both sides of a roughly one-kilometer-long industrial road, and they typically begin to bloom from mid-March to early April each year. Currently, the blooming rate is close to 70%. The brilliant red flowers burst forth like fiery orbs, while their tall, sturdy branches intertwine to form a tunnel of floral splendor, drawing crowds eager to witness the charm of the world’s most beautiful flower-lined avenue.

In 2015, the Spanish travel website BoredPanda ranked the world’s 15 most beautiful flower-lined streets, and the “Lin Chuchi Kapok Blossoms” in Baihe, Tainan, were listed among them—making it the only Asian selection. Since being featured, the Lin Chuchi Kapok Blossom Avenue has seen a surge in popularity. In 2015, when the flowers bloomed, it attracted nearly 200,000 visitors; in 2016, that number exceeded 300,000.

It’s worth noting that the “Lin Chuchi Kapok Blossom Avenue” covers a vast area. It’s recommended to park your car and either rent a bicycle to explore the area or take a leisurely stroll through the flower tunnel. Many excited visitors also pick up fallen kapok flowers to arrange them into hearts and other shapes. With the blooming period lasting just two weeks, those who wish to see it should act quickly.
