During the Lunar New Year, cities and towns across the country have prepared a variety of sightseeing activities, offering the public diverse options for leisurely travels. Xinxiang City’s 2017 “Celebrate the New Year in Xinxiang” event is entering its second year, and this time it takes “Windy City Fantasy” as its main theme. Seven large-scale installations and a riverside lighting project have been set up at locations such as the moat, East Gate Tower, and the 228 Peace Memorial Park. Using innovative and vibrant methods, the traditional area has been given a completely new look. A grand lighting ceremony was held on the evening of the 20th at 228 Park.
